100%Real Fruit & Juice Gummies

Ok, so if you saw my status yesterday you saw these:

I made gummies with real fruit and fresh squeezed juices!

After pinning it on Pinterest, I knew I had to try them!

This chica has some crazy awesome clean recipes on her blog, I love it!

I followed her ratio of  1 Cup Fresh Squeezed Juice, 2 Cups Fresh Fruit, Unflavored Gelatin, and 1 Packet Stevia. (I used 1Tbs Raw Honey instead)

I made 4 different kinds. 1 with her exact recipe, 2 that I tweaked from hers, and 1 of my own.

Strawberry & Orange

(One exact from her blog)

1 Orange (Juice should equal 1/2 C)

2 C Strawberries

1/4 C Lemon Juice

1/4 C Lime Juice

1 Tbs Raw Honey

5 envelops Unflavored Gelatin (4 envelopes come in a box)

Go ahead and combine all the juices, and the strawberries in a saucepan. Boil until soft and squishy.

Blend in your blender, or Bullet.

After it’s had time to cool, add the honey and gelatin. Blend until super smooth.

Pour onto a flat sheet and let cool in the fridge for one hour. ( They came off the pan WAAAAAAY better when I left them all in overnight.)

Blueberry & Pomegranate

(This was a tweaked one.)

1/2 C Pomegranate Juice

2 C Blueberries

1/4 C Lemon Juice

1 Tbs Raw Honey

5 envelopes Unflavored Gelatin

Same Directions

Mango & Carrot

(My Recipe, and My Favorite!)

2 C Mango

1/2 C Carrot Juice (Thankfully my Bullet came with a juicer!)

1/4 C Lemon Juice

4 1/2 envelopes Unflavored Gelatin

1 Tbs Raw Honey

Same Directions

Banana & Apple

(Another tweaked one.)

1 1/2 Bananas

3/4 C Apple Juice

1/4 C Lemon Juice

2 1/2 envelopes Unflavored Gelatin

1 Tbs Raw Honey

Heat on Medium Low, and the rest of the directions are the same.

* I bought some disposable cookie sheets, and it only had 2 pans. So I had to foil line one of my cookie sheets, and let me tell ya. That worked WAY better than the sheets I bought.

* They were not all the same thickness on the disposable sheets, and had little grooves on the back. Making it difficult to remove them without the aid of a toothpick.

*  Greg and I loved them, Aubrey is being stubborn and won’t even try them yet…. and these batches made this much

It’s so much, that I’m giving the large baggie to my niece & nephew who are 3 & 1. The small one is going to my FAVORITE manager Rhonda, over at our HEB.

I made these quick little flavor guides. (pardon their sloppiness, I wasn’t trying to make them fantastic)

All in all I thought they were pretty good, but I will be trying juicing fruits and adding them to the unflavored gelatin. Aubrey is just super picky, and prefers them to be semi see through. -_- Kids…..
